Cape Smokey Summer Experiences
Our first featured guest experience benefit launches with our neighbours at Cape Smokey, just a few minutes up the Cabot Trail. This summer, Lantern Hill & Hollow guests can explore the mountain from above with exclusive savings on gondola access and e-bike rentals.

Golf & Stay Experiences

We have partnered with Highlands Links and Bell Bay — two of the most celebrated courses in Atlantic Canada — to create stay-and-play experiences that pair an oceanfront stay with rounds at courses regularly ranked among the country's best. Highlands Links, a Stanley Thompson design carved through Cape Breton Highlands National Park, sits just minutes from our cottages; Bell Bay, on the shores of the Bras d'Or Lake, offers a different but equally memorable round within easy reach of Ingonish.

When the snow arrives, the program shifts with the season. During winter, Lantern Hill & Hollow guests can access Ski & Stay experiences connected to Cape Smokey and the surrounding area, pairing the warmth of a beachfront coastal cottage with the rare experience of skiing above the Atlantic coastline.
Cape Smokey is one of very few places in the world where you can ride a gondola with the open Atlantic ocean stretching out below, and our Ski & Stay packages are built around that.
